In 2017, Procore began hosting the annual “Hard Hat Hero” competition, where people in the construction industry may nominate a peer or mentor who they believe exemplifies the ideals of a “Hard Hat Hero” and cast votes for their favorite nominees online.
The goal was for the final logo to feel powerful but dignified, and easy to recognize while maintaining simplicity.
After exploring many different options for possible logos (seen here), I created and refined the final mark that would go on to be used in many marketing assets, from apparel, to banner ads and posters, and even on the Procore NASCAR along with the name of the contest winner.
